Decko tiles are maintenance free, waterproof, do not rot and are termite resistant, designed for outdoors. The plastic mesh under the tiles is designed to allow drainage of storm water.

DECKO boards are made from approximately 55% hardwood chips, 35% grade A recycled HDPE plastic, resins and 10% anti-oxidation and bonding elements to enable longevity of the boards. Any woodcutting tool can cut them, jigsaw, drop-saw, table saw or handsaw. If you need to cut along the gaps use a sharp knife is enough.

No our composite wood tiles have a high wood content of 55%. Pleasant to walk on them barefoot, and to the touch feels like normal wood. Ordering a sample pack will let you examine the material first hand.

Just hose it or let the rain to do the job for you. Water runs off easily into the gaps, taking dust or sediments from the surface with it. If you have grease or other stains, use boiling water and dishwashing soap and rub it with a sponge.

Don't worry, take a 40 grit sandpaper and just sand the scratch off longways along the board. The surface is a brushed surface using sanding technology so the surface will stay looking like the original.

Yes, several customers choose to get creative, creating borders, chess table format or just different colours for different areas, as well as combining it with our artificial grass tiles to finish off the space.

That's not recommended as they will sink in the mud when it rains. They require a hard, solid and flat ground such as concreted, tiled or paved areas or laid over an old decking. Some customers choose to place them on compacted road-base, on top of dirt.

No, this product once interlocked during install will not move, they cover the full area like a solid surface. The friction and mass of the tiles interlocked make them stay in place.

No, the product is designed to be non-slippery, even in rain or near to the pools when wet. Rated as high as R-10 for non slip.
