Benefits

Indoor & Outdoor Versatility
Suitable for both interior and exterior applications when installed with the appropriate adhesive and sealing system.

Weather-Resistant Performance
Designed to withstand moisture, temperature changes, and everyday exposure. For outdoor installations, use a construction-grade adhesive and sealant for long-term durability.

Lightweight & Flexible Design
Thin, flexible panels allow installation on flat surfaces, gentle curves, columns, and feature walls where rigid stone is not practical.

Authentic Stone Look
Natural stone composite delivers realistic texture, depth, and variation without the weight of traditional stone cladding.

Fast Installation
Large-format panels cover walls quickly, reducing installation time compared to traditional stone or tile systems.

DIY-Friendly
Easy to cut, handle, and position — ideal for confident DIY projects as well as professional installations.

Minimal Structural Load
Lightweight construction reduces stress on walls and substrates, making it suitable for renovations and retrofits.

Clean, Seam-Controlled Finish
Panels can be aligned and finished to achieve minimal visible joins for a refined, premium result.

Install

Flexistone panels are designed for simple, reliable installation when the correct adhesive system is used.

Adhesive (most important)
Use a construction-grade adhesive suitable for the wall surface and environment.
For outdoor applications, select a weather-resistant exterior adhesive.
Avoid peel-and-stick or tape-only solutions in external or wet areas.

Adhesive application methods
There are two proven and recommended ways to install Flexistone panels:

  1. Construction adhesive method
Apply adhesive generously to the back of each panel using multiple dots or a continuous snaking (zig-zag) line.
This ensures strong bonding, even load distribution, and long-term stability.

  2. Tile adhesive (tiler-style) method
Flexistone panels can also be installed using cement-based tile adhesive (thin-set mortar), applied to the wall with a notched trowel, in the same way porcelain or ceramic tiles are installed.
This method provides excellent surface coverage and a very secure bond, making it ideal for flat, well-prepared masonry or cement sheet walls. It is commonly preferred by professional tilers.

Always ensure the adhesive selected is appropriate for the panel weight and for interior or exterior use, depending on the application.

Placing the panels
Panels are lightweight and easy to handle. Press firmly against the wall to ensure full contact with the adhesive, align carefully for consistent spacing, and maintain a clean, professional finish.

Optional grouting finish
Panels can be grouted like traditional tiles to achieve a block-style stone look.
Colour-matched grout enhances the stone effect and improves water resistance for outdoor installations.

Installation note
Final performance depends on surface preparation, adhesive choice, and joint finishing. Installation should be carried out by a competent installer or confident DIYer.

Why DECKO?

DECKO Flexistone is part of DECKO’s commitment to delivering premium, practical building solutions designed for real projects — not just showrooms. Backed by hands-on product testing, real-world installations, and direct supply relationships, Flexistone offers the authentic look of natural stone without the structural limitations of traditional cladding.

At DECKO, we focus on materials that balance performance, appearance, and ease of installation. Flexistone panels are manufactured using a natural stone composite and formed into ultra-thin, flexible sheets, allowing for large wall coverage, curved surfaces, and architectural features that would be difficult or costly to achieve with solid stone.

We supply Flexistone for both residential and commercial projects, supporting applications ranging from feature walls and renovations to facades and large-scale fit-outs. Panels are provided without pre-applied adhesive so installers can select the most appropriate bonding system for the surface, environment, and project requirements — a deliberate choice that prioritises long-term performance over convenience shortcuts.

Custom sizes, selected stone finishes, and project-based supply allow DECKO to support consistent results across larger installations. From quoting and logistics to installation guidance and after-sales support, DECKO is focused on providing reliable materials, clear information, and practical solutions that professionals and confident DIYers can trust.
